CRN, a media brand of the Channel Company, has once again recognized BitTitan on their list of Channel Chiefs. In addition, four distributors—who we consider extensions of the BitTitan team—also have multiple individuals receiving acclaim for their contributions in developing and supporting channel partners.
Lon Clark, BitTitan Director of Global Channel Sales, has been recognized as a 2024 CRN Channel Chief, an honor he also received in 2023. Since he joined BitTitan in 2014, Lon has grown the company’s distribution business from one distributor to more than 200.
Lon believes that growth comes from providing fanatical support to BitTitan’s channel partners. He does this by focusing his team on enabling and educating partners so they can respond to a changing environment in ways that help them grow and prosper.
One tool that has helped partners increase their profitability is the BitTitan Learning Management System (LMS), launched under Lon’s leadership. Lon and his team spent 2023 educating distributors on the LMS so they could take advantage of on-demand product and technical learning tracks. Distributors and partners are using the LMS to access self-serve support, and to build their teams’ expertise at a pace that works for them.
Lon measures success by looking at the success of BitTitan’s partners and distributors. When his team identified struggling distributors and introduced them to the LMS platform, those distributors started seeing significant growth and increased deals. BitTitan has also seen the learning management system increase the number of conversations the team is having with distributors and partners.
